ATHLETICS

Extracurricular athletics are integral to the complete educational experience at Webber Academy. We strive to maintain a well-respected program that is educational and further enhances the mental, physical, social, and emotional needs of our students. Student-Athletes benefit from a strong sense of belonging through shared experiences, physical activity, and working towards a common goal with their peers. After the completion of a sport, the athletes have increased confidence as leaders and individuals.

ELEMENTARY ATHLETICS

Webber Academy has a tradition of offering a series of sport-based clubs for our elementary students. Although our club offerings change each year based on teacher/student interest we have offered Badminton, Baseball, Basketball, Cross-Country Running, and Volleyball.

SENIOR SCHOOL ATHLETICS (Grades 7–12)

Athletics in junior high presents the first opportunity for competitive teams and individual sports with other schools in the same division; these competitive sports teams are offered outside of the timetable and include cross-country running, golf, volleyball, basketball, badminton, track and field, and soccer. Senior high athletics feature the same sports, with rugby as an occasional addition. The senior high teams are organized into junior varsity and senior varsity groups, depending on the size of the group in each sport.
